The Goodwin Family: Memory Lane

I just copied these photos from my mom's camera a couple of months ago. They are photos from Rylie's 1st birthday celebration at my parents' lakehouse and a couple of our posed Christmas pictures with my side of the family. Hope you enjoy them. Rylie sure has changed since last August!

Here's Rylie and her duck cake.

We had a great celebration at the lake with family and friends.

She doesn't like to get dirty.

She seems disgusted that I put icing in her mouth.

But she decided it wasn't too bad.

Look at those little teeth! I can't believe she's got a mouth full now!

She has loved mail since she was itty bitty. The highlight of her day each day is walking down to our mailbox. She thinks she's going to get stickers everyday. That's what she tells me as we're walking. But then once we get there and she discovers that she doesn't have any stickers (on a typical day), she seems content to just carry a bill back to the house. She doesn't care much about postcards or sales flyers...just the hard core envelope mail!

Rylie used to love standing at windows and looking out. She still does it sometimes, but she won't stand there as long as she used to.

Getting ready for a boat ride. Don't worry-her Poppy's a safety nut. She ALWAYS has a life vest on in the boat. We were just parked at the dock hanging out. I think she might actually be ready for her first tube ride this year (with mommy of course!) So hopefully we'll be able to post some pictures of that later this summer!!!
