On her first day with us, mom came with me to my "applique quilting lesson". She watched Rylie while I soaked up information. Here's a photo with my lovely sweet quilting teacher, Dora. She is the best teacher, so sweet, encouraging, and patient. And she's a grandmother, so she always puts aside a scrap box or something fun for Rylie to destroy, ahem...play in. :-) We both love Dora very much! Oh, and Rylie's gotten into "measuring" things lately. That's why she has the measuring tape around her neck. She loves to help me sew!

On the way home from Dora's we pass some cows. We decided to stop and let Rylie hang out for a bit.

Rylie with her new shades. She actually keeps them on this summer!

Checking out the "antses" as she calls them.

This girl LOVES rocks!

Like daddy, like daughter.

When I got Rylie out of her carseat, this is how she looked. She loves to put her glasses on her head "just like mommy"

Plunkie and I found a squirt bottle for Rylie so that she can help me when I clean the mirrors and windows.

What a great helper!

Okay, so Rylie is still VERY much into Dora even though she's never seen her on tv. We get Dora library books, her daddy bought her a Dora hat, she has Dora cups, and now, she has a Dora bathing suit compliments of Plunkie. She loves to wear this thing so much that she didn't want to take it off to put her dress on for dinner (we were going out.) We finally got the bathing suit off and the dress on, but a few minutes later, we noticed that she had her Dora bottoms on under her dress. So that's how she went to dinner!
