Pumpkin Patch

This is one of those family posts where the next 50 photos will probably only interest grandparents. Today I surprised Tripp with a visit to a pumpkin patch about an hour away from our home. We had a blast!!! Rylie really loved walking around all of the fields, and every time we'd pick her up, she'd wiggle around and say, "get down." It was pretty cold and windy today, but that just prepared us for the coming winter months. Here are some photos of our time this morning. We hope you feel like you were there with us, grandparents!
Looking out into the pond below the bridge
Trying to sneak a snack
Out on the feeding dock watching the ducks
This place was HUGE! It had gem mining, a train ride, hay rides, pumpkin patch, duck races, 80 foot slide, hay jump, 2 mazes, feeding dock for fish, bunnyville, farm animals, country store, and much more!
Rylie ready to "get down" and see the animals
goatsNotice her standing on her tip toes to get a better view
sticking her face through the fence...good thing there was a double fence!
We tried to get Rylie to do this maze, but she couldn't keep her balance on the gravel.
She was so funny in the hay bale maze! She went in, went around a couple of turns and was doing really well, and then she turned around and came right back out!
Bunnyville!!!
We didn't get photos, but the bunnies had a school, a church, a country store, and a mansion. It was so cute!We really enjoyed our train ride!
All aboard!!!
Hay ride
We had to bundle up tight-it was so chilly! Rylie HATES hats, but she didn't try to take her hoodie off once. She knew it was keeping her warm.
These reminded me of Paw Paw's farm
Leaving the fair type part and heading to the pumpkin patch...
What could be cuter than a baby in overalls in the middle of a pumpkin patch?
Forget running through the patch...flying is much better!
Just as kids enjoy the box better than the toy it contains, Rylie decided to push her stroller instead of play with the pumpkins.
