Snice!!!!!

Starting Friday evening, we got some snow. Then, early Saturday morning, we got some sleet. So, that left us with an inch or two of snow and an inch or two of sleet on top of that. Hence the title, Snice. It was pretty interesting. You could walk on it, and then every couple of steps, the snice would give way. We had lots of fun "playing" in it, but snowballs, snowmen, and snowangels just weren't possible in the snice. Here are some photos capturing Rylie's second snow. We also had one about this time last year. Woah, mama...is all this really neccessary?

She did this quite a bit. It was difficult to walk for all of us, especially Rylie.

Making our snice cream. It was pretty bad. It had a lot more ice than snow in it even though I dug for just snow. Oh well. It ended up being more like a snow cone than ice cream.
Rylie is always such a big helper in the kitchen.

Rylie's not a fan of cold foods at all-ice cream, popsicles, puddings, jello, etc. She does eat yogurt though.Since we were snowed in the next day, we decided to have some fun. We had the couch cushion off the couch, and Rylie enjoyed being able to climb on and off the couch as she pleased. Here she is jumping on the couch.

And we turned the cushion into a slide. This was by far the best part of the day. Rylie had a blast!
